I often communicate displacement in location and identity through my work. In doing so I have created a “roll call” of all the houses my family and I have lived in. Starting from my home in Acambaro, Guanajuato Mexico, two homes in Pilsen Chicago, and my current home in the Southwest side of Chicago. Each location is charged with significant memories, events, and benchmarks that have shaped me as a person.
