Will I Disappear?
This ongoing series focuses on the historical context that influences how and why immigration laws are signed into effect in the United States. Amid my own anxiety in navigating life, I ask myself, “Who is affected by these laws?” and “Will I disappear?” This systemic pressure causes many immigrants to discreetly ask themselves these questions.
